Fury 91 Specs Fury 91 Review Raptor 50v2 specs Raptor 50v2 review Main Mental Site

What's New:

January 29, 2005 - Six months since initially setting up the helicopter site at Mental Socket and I finally do an update! Life has been very busy for the Socket household and no sign of things letting up. I have managed to do some flying however, and learning a new trick or two as well. Actually, my flying skills haven't gone very far in the past couple of years. The only thing I can brag about are super low inverted piros and my somewhat low (12-15 feet) knife edge circles when I'm in the mood. The Fury has been flying ok and I'm starting to appreciate that big block power. I have had some issues such as the fuel tank cap coming off, but the more I realize this Fury requires daily inspection the better things have gotten.

Having owned Reflex XTR Simulator now for quite a few months, I realize that it is no different than the other sims I've owned. They all lose my interest quickly with their oddball flying characteristics (Reflex likes to hook the tail in hard and sink on Funnels). I do not like simulators at all. They do not work for me. Your mileage may vary!

June 2, 2004 - This is the beginning of my heli site at Mental Socket. I'm going to salvage what I can from the original site and put here as time allows. I recently sold my Hirobo Freya which was 91 powered and purchased a Fury Extreme to replace it. I still have and plan to keep my Thunder Tiger Raptor 50v2. It has been a great helicopter and has been as reliable as a helicopter can possibly be!

Check back for more content soon... (Internet soon, which could be anywhere from 2 hours to 2 years!)
