Review of the TT Raptor 50 V2:

April 6, 2002 - I've been flying my Raptor 50 V2 since the first of the year. This has been one great helicopter! You can't ask for a better value than this setup. For around $500 you get the helicopter with the Thunder Tiger .50 engine, polished one piece muffler, driven tail, carbon frame brace and 600mm carbon fiber main blades. The V2 has many improvements over the original Raptor 30/50 design (which was a phenomenal one itself). Improvements were made to the clutch (V2 is larger), major changes to the head (larger feather spindle, new grip design), canopy looks better and even stronger frame design.

Flying is what counts and so far I've found the 50 V2 to be a blast. Bring plenty of fuel with you because this heli just keeps flying every time you ask it to. The one upgrade I do recommend on this helicopter is to get better tail blades. The stock plastic blades are basically just the old 30 V1 blades.. they struggle to hold the tail against the torque of the TT50 spinning 600 mains.

I give this heli a five star rating so far.....
